REPRODUCTION. You are purchasing one vertical hydraulic firewall pump for either a 6-Volt or 12-Volt model. Commonly used to power the windows as well as convertible top. Please select the correct type in the drop down menu above. Please note this is a reproduction pump so it will look slightly different from your original. (The image is of a 1953 replacement firewall pump.)

If selected, can come with replacement hoses and fittings. These hoses connect to the pressure port on the firewall pump to connect to the hydraulic window system, or if a convertible model, also to the return line on the bottom of the pump to power the hydraulic convertible top system. Each hose included is approximately 14-Inches in length with one 90 Degree fitting and one Straight fitting.

The recommended fluid to be used with this pump is DOT 3 Brake Fluid or Transmission Fluid. If you have used a different type of fluid in your system previously, please be sure to to flush the system completely before installing this pump.

PLEASE NOTE: In 1950-1951 models, normally a "Vane" hydraulic pump was used. This can be identified as an "L" shape or 90 degree angle shaped pump. You will likely need to modify the current attaching brackets to mount this to the car.
