REPRODUCTION. This is a time delay clutch switch. This controls the activation of the blower motor when changing modes on the interior control head. Some models may have been retrofitted by GM to the master air conditioning (A/C) "steamboat" switch instead in which case the time delay switch would have been removed. Please compare to your original part to ensure proper fitment.
